The perfect Autumn shoot! | Outdoor Family Photographer, Leicester

I used to work with Sarah around 10 years ago, she had just bought her first home with her now husband. Since then, both of our lives have changed significantly! Sarah is now a makeup artist (if you’re getting married I can pass on your details - I can definitely recommend her) and Mummy to the 2 most gorgeous little girls.

I was so excited when Sarah’s message came through to book, especially as she wanted an Autumn shoot at my favourite spot! The session was relaxed and fun - by the end of the session E was throwing so many moves! She really made us all laugh; why do we become so self conscious as we grow up? She was an absolute natural in front of the camera making my job super easy!

Can you believe that both girls wore cream and were immaculate after nearly 2 hours in the woods? Kudos to Sarah - my 2 would have trashed their outfits whilst still in the car park…

I took my sample frames along to the (socially distanced) viewing and it was agreed that a multi aperture would look stunning above the sofa in the family room. Sarah chose my vintage moulding with a black frame. It’s a bold option that perfectly complimented their period property.

The frames come ready to hang and are supplied with a clear acrylic making them nice and light too.

Sarah was delighted when she saw the frame “I love it!” - words I will never tire of hearing.

Here are some of my faves along with a mockup of the frame we created.

Sarah’s review has given me the warm and fuzzies - such lovely words!

This is the mockup of Sarah’s frame - it looks even better in real life!

“I would definitely recommend Julie - me & my husband are so happy with our beautiful photos from our family portrait with Julie.

I really wanted to capture some natural family photos of course it’s impossible to get photos as a family of 4 so I had in mind arranging a professional to take some.

Seeing Julie’s website I loved her work & soon as I contacted Julie she was wonderful & very professional.

On the day we immediately felt relaxed my husband won’t mind me saying he was little apprehensive beforehand not knowing what to expect but he couldn’t say enough afterwards how at ease & natural the morning was.

My youngest daughter (14 months) unfortunately seemed to be a bit grumpy due to teething! But I cannot tell you how patient Julie was (you can tell she’s a Mum and just understood!)

But even with my youngest being a little grumpy Julie managed lots of smiles and captured some lovely moments between us all as a family but also of the girls together. My eldest daughter loved the experience too and seemed to be a natural!

Afterwards Julie presented the photos to us and we loved end result. We now have a beautiful frame in the house that we honestly will cherish forever.

Thank you so much Julie! Xxx” Sarah.
