Challenge Charnwood - I need your help!
I am offering the chance for you to have your family portraits taken as a thank you for showing me some of the best sights that this area has to offer.
I am an outdoor Children's and Family Portrait Photographer specialising in Charnwood and I would like to think that I know the area pretty well. I've built a business around it, after all. However, every now and then I stumble across a new location that catches my breath.
One such place was Whatton House and Gardens. I have driven past that entrance so many hundreds of times and every single time I have thought - I must go in there one day. It was around this time last year that I finally made that journey and what I discovered was magical. Acres of heady garlic, a rose garden, vast herbaceous borders, mature trees from all over the world, some replica terracotta soldiers and the prettiest lake (cover image) that I have ever set eyes upon.
I suspect that our pretty little Burrough may have some other equally wonderful secret gardens hidden away. And this is where I NEED YOUR HELP...
I am challenging you to show me your favourite spot in Charnwood. It doesn't have to be a stately home or garden (although I'm excited to see if there are more!). It could be woodland, a hilltop, a local landmark - absolutely anything. Get your thinking caps on, because the family that comes up with the best location will be given a photoshoot at that place. In addition to the Photoshoot they will also receive 5 digital images to update their Family Portraits on their walls in their home.
All that I ask is that you be available on the morning of Saturday 17th Feb for your Photo Shoot to take place (If there are lots of great locations I may decide to have more than one winner and release some more dates!).
